Bernay is a small picturesque town located in the Eure, located just 30min from Castel Camping Le Brévedent and 1h30 from Paris, which is full of history and charm. Founded in the Middle Ages, it has survived the centuries while preserving many vestiges of its past.
Lovers of art and history will be delighted to discover the medieval streets of the old town that testify to traditional Norman architecture. The church of Sainte-Croix dating from the 11th century is worth a visit, as well as the Museum of Fine Arts in a former 17th century convent.
