The 16th edition of the CIC Normandy Channel Race will run from Wednesday, May 21st to Sunday, June 1st, 2025, with a start scheduled for Sunday, May 25th. This double race, reserved for the Class40, stretches over approximately 1,000 nautical miles, connecting Normandy to Ireland via the south-west coast of England and the Channel Islands. For the 2025 edition, the renowned navigator Michel Desjoyeaux, double winner of the Vendée Globe, confirmed his participation, marking his first appearance on this race. The race village will be located on the Quai Vendeuvre in Caen, offering various animations for the public, including presentations by skippers, concerts and water sports initiations.
