D-Day Festival Normandy
The D-Day Festival Normandy is an annual event commemorating the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6th, 1944. Every year, around this historic date, a series of festive and cultural events is organized on all the beaches of the Landing, from Utah Beach to Sword Beach. From May 31st to June 15th, 2025, the festival will offer a rich and varied program, including parachutages, military and civilian vehicle parades, concerts of music of the 1940s, popular balls, historical reconstructions, fireworks, exhibitions and documentary screenings. These activities are designed to celebrate the return of freedom and honour the memory of those who participated in the D-Day. The festivities will take place at several emblematic sites, including Caen, Bayeux, Arromanches, Sainte-Mère-Église and many other locations along the Norman coast. The D-Day Festival Normandy is a unifying event that attracts many visitors every year, eager to remember and celebrate this milestone in history.
