Sailors’ Festival

The Sailors’ Festival is a centuries-old tradition in Honfleur, celebrated every year during the weekend of Pentecost. In 2025, the festivities will take place from Saturday, June 7th to Monday, June 9th.

Program:

• Saturday: Musical animations and exhibitions of maritime models at the Greniers à Sel.
• Sunday: Mass of the sailors in the church of Sainte-Catherine, followed by the blessing of the sea from the Old Basin.
• Monday: Procession of children carrying model boats, accompanied by musicians and faithful, to the chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce for an open-air mass.

This festival pays tribute to the sailors and the rich maritime history of Honfleur, offering an authentic immersion in Norman traditions.
