Centenary of the Canonization of Saint Thérèse

The Centenary of the Canonization of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is a major event scheduled for May 17th and 18th 2025, marking 100 years since Saint Thérèse was proclaimed holy by Pope Pius XI on May 17th 1925. This anniversary is the occasion of a special jubilee year, celebrated with religious, cultural and festive highlights. On the program: a solemn procession of the relics of Saint Thérèse, from the Carmel to the Basilica, followed by a unique concert of Natasha St Pier in the heart of the majestic Basilica. Throughout the day, discover a free access route retracing the life of Sainte Thérèse and her relatives, through the emblematic places where they lived. Activities for children and many surprises will enrich this important event, which invites young and old to rediscover the spirituality and the legacy of the “little way” of trust and love.
