Monumental Forest

The Monumental Forest is an open-air art exhibition held in the state forest of Roumare, in Canteleu, near Rouen. The second edition of this event began on June 29th, 2024 and will continue until September 2026. The approximately 4-kilometre long route features 13 monumental works by international artists, offering an immersive experience that combines art and nature. Access to the exhibition is free and open to the public 24/7, allowing everyone to discover these installations at their own pace. Guided tours are also offered on certain dates to deepen the understanding of the works and their integration into the forest environment. This event is a unique opportunity to rediscover the forest of Roumare from an artistic perspective and to reflect on the relationship between man and nature.
