Houlgate Plein Vent

The Houlgate Plein Vent Festival is an annual event dedicated to kites and gliding sports, taking place on the beach of Houlgate, in Normandy. This festival, which will celebrate its 25th edition on May 10th and 11th, 2025, brings together enthusiasts and families to admire impressive demonstrations and enjoy many activities.  The festival usually offers artistic and acrobatic kite demonstrations, construction workshops for children, initiations to various sports such as kite-surfing, paragliding, sailing as well as animations around the environment. The beach of Houlgate, with its exposure to the wind and its beautiful Belle Epoque villas in the background, is the ideal setting for this festive and family event.
