Operatic Parade

The Operatic Parade is a major event scheduled for May 9th, 2025 in Caen, celebrating the city’s millennium. Organised by the local company Le Ballon Vert, this spectacular parade will run for 5 kilometers from the Prairie to the Bassin Saint-Pierre. It will feature more than 1,000 participants, including artists, circus performers and musicians, who will retrace the history of Caen through a ramble of monumental floats, combining poetry and heritage. This project will offer spectators an experience rich in surprises and emotions and will be a unique event in the history of Caen.
